Back pain physiotherapy

Back pain.
Found. Fixed.

Most back pain is mechanical, and mechanical pain has a mechanical fix. 60 minute initial, full body screen, and a phased plan back to full strength. Four clinics across the Penrith Valley and Sunshine Coast.

What we see

Every kind of
back.

From the desk worker who cannot sit through a meeting to the lifter who tweaked a deadlift. Same process: find the driver, fix it.

01

Disc injuries

Acute disc irritation and referred leg pain. Assessed properly, staged carefully, rebuilt to full load.

02

Sciatica and nerve pain

Leg symptoms driven from the back. We work out where it starts, then treat the cause rather than chase the symptom.

03

Muscle strains

The classic "bent over and it grabbed". Usually fast to settle when loaded correctly instead of rested flat.

04

Desk stiffness

Hours in a chair, a back that feels 20 years older than you. Mobility plus strength, not just stretches.

05

SIJ and pelvic pain

Often misdiagnosed, often over-treated. We test rather than guess.

06

Recurring flare-ups

The back that "goes" every few months has an unaddressed cause. We find it and build the capacity to stop the cycle.

How we fix it

Found. Fixed.
Proven.

The same six phase Paragon Method behind every rehab we run. Data at the start, data at every retest.

Step 01

Assess

60 minute initial. Full history, movement screen, VALD strength testing where appropriate. We find the driver, not just the sore spot.

Step 02

Plan

A phased plan from regain to sustain, built from your numbers. You leave visit one knowing what is wrong, how long it takes, and what it costs.

Step 03

Rebuild

Strength based rehab, coached in the room. Retested every 6 to 8 weeks so you can see the progress, not just feel it.

Common questions

Asked often.

Quick answers. For anything else, call 1300 727 246 and talk to a human.

How long until back pain settles?

Most simple mechanical back pain improves meaningfully inside 2 to 6 weeks with the right loading plan. Longer standing or nerve related pain takes longer. You get an honest timeline at your first visit, based on your presentation rather than a template.

Do I need a scan before seeing a physio?

Usually not. Most back pain does not need imaging to be diagnosed or treated well, and scan findings often do not match symptoms. If your presentation suggests a scan is genuinely needed, we tell you and arrange the referral.

Should I rest or keep moving?

Keep moving, within tolerance. Bed rest consistently makes back pain worse. The skill is knowing exactly how much load is helpful, and that is what your plan gives you.

Is it just massage and heat packs?

No. Hands-on treatment has its place, but our rehab is strength based and measured. You are retested every 6 to 8 weeks so progress is visible in numbers, not vibes.
